Often we do deserve what we do get

Often we do deserve what we do get

If we are honest and to it admit

When life seems to hunt us as a lion

Our only refuge is in Mount Zion

Only because of heaven’s divine grace

There is escape from this hideous race

For who can out run the evils which come

To our own devices we do succumb

Integrity only comes from above

It is founded in heaven’s divine love

The righteous heart the Eternal will save

To weakness we are not meant to be slave

All praise is to the Holy one on high

On whom we trust and completely rely

Psalm 7:15   He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen

into the ditch which he made.
