Gladness of heart and peace are Divine gifts
Blessings from heaven that the Spirit lifts
Praise heaven for goodness and blessed peace
Thus to all does virtue give an increase
In weakness we can find a divine strength
Truly filling all the days of life’s length
Heaven’s host listens to all of our prayers
Messengers carrying incense of cares
Communion of the heart binds in great awe
Reconciling every failing and flaw
Bringing brightness to our countenance shine
Trust in heaven’s Word that all can assign
The Eternal gives to the blessed sleep
Safely at night our soul heaven does keep
