Let all turn from violence and seek peace
Flee evil and embrace love’s true release
Seek the righteousness of heaven today
Resist the pulls of the world that sway
Bridal the tongue’s power to defile
With fiery flame it can beguile
In innocence learn as a young child
Patient spirit that is just and mild
All abides under heaven’s watchful eye
Through pure goodness must all come to ally
Many are the afflictions of the just
In Divine deliverance all must trust
There is one who reigns in all love supreme
Praise the Eternal in songs of esteem
Psalm 34:19 “Many are the afflictions of the
righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.”
